RoundAbout me

Ay Corona!

Welcome Fenland-bound ethnographers. I’m showcasing my artworks just-in-time for Cambridge-Art-Seen, an upwardly mobile Gallery and Art Delivery Service initiated by yours truly, a painter of talent and latent drive.

I’ll cut to the chase. I’m chasing the chase. That’s it. Everything else will reveal itself in my work.

Thank you to all who support this indeterminate venture with generous donations, private collections and all-round appreciation of my output and scattergun approach.

As to the madness of methodology, I paint, draw and create content which I then sometimes manipulate on Photoshop to bolster with special effects where I blend and superimpose layers through a process of trial and serendipitous errors.

All my work feeds back into itself. I am a loop with a feedback system. My digital works are ploughed back into my analogue works. Painting is my way of communicating hard-to-reach thoughts into higher-consciousness.

My body of work is broad and ambitious in its reach, ecclectic – drawing on areas of skill from disparate locations. Entirely self-taught and self-propelled, I trained in portrait work with a focus on the illusions and fractals inherent in the fine details of emotional facial structure. My most loyal sitters were all statues and busts, absent-minded yet bursting with vitality. Over the summer I will be doing on-location paintings of the area local to my whereabouts. I also plan to continue exploring technical breakthroughs in creating visually stimulating and thought-provoking ensembles.
